Speaker: Darin Reimer, Cornerstone Youth Society/Sanctuary Youth Centre

Topic: The Big Impact of a Small Centre: How a small, well supported Centre can have long term impact on vulnerable youth in our region

When asked if there was anything our members could bring to the meeting to help the youth (e.g. donations), Darin suggested gift cards for Tim Horton's, McDonald's, anything that might provide a warm cup of coffee, etc. He said $10-$15 gift cards would be most welcome for the young people. 

Darin has worked with youth for the better part of his entire career beginning at a Filipino Church in the prairies and then in a Chinese Church here in Victoria. That led to an opportunity to work with disenfranchised youth in Victoria at Sanctuary Youth Centre since 2014. He has been married to Cora for 27 years and has 3 grown up daughters who also live in Victoria.
